That proximity is the whole offer. A cook who joins one line here is not stuck on it: most of the people running our rooms started somewhere else in the group, and moving between them does not mean moving house.
What it is actually like.
These are restaurants, so the hours are restaurant hours and the nights are long. What we can honestly say is different: the kitchens make things rather than open them, which means you will learn something; and there are five of them, which means there is somewhere to go when you have outgrown where you are.
We hire for attitude ahead of résumé in the dining room and for craft in the kitchen. If you have never worked in a restaurant and want to, say so. Somebody has to be first, and several of our best people were.

This is not a live vacancy list, and we would rather say so than pretend. These are the positions that come up across five venues; tell us which one you are and we will tell you honestly whether there is a seat now, soon, or not for a while.
Kitchen
Five kitchens that make rather than open: pasta rolled in the morning, stocks from scratch, whole fish broken down on site. Come in able to work clean and we will teach you the rest.

Dining room
Rooms between forty seats and a full house, so the job is different in each one. We hire for how you are with people first and teach the wine list second.

Bar
A cocktail cart in one room, a coffee machine from breakfast in another, and a two-hundred-bottle list across the group. Bartenders here are usually working more than one of those.

Everything else
The office runs hiring, suppliers and the books for all five venues, and it is small. These roles come up rarely and matter a great deal when they do.

You can. Any of the five, between lunch and dinner service, ask for a manager. It is a perfectly good way to get hired in this industry and it always has been.
